A Fantastic Day of Play and Inclusion!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 8th annual All-Inclusive Day of Play & Resource Fair on Friday, July 11, at Miramar Hourglass Recreation Center! It was a joyful day full of fun, connection, and community for families of all abilities.
More than 1,500 guests signed up in this vibrant celebration, enjoying hands-on activities like the Light Saber Creation Station, SpongeBob Jellyfish Pond, Encanto Butterfly Craft, Super Mario Wheelchair Awareness Course, Pokémon Scavenger Hunt and so much more. The day kicked off with a sensory-friendly half hour, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
Families loved meeting favorite characters including Daniel Tiger, Princess Ariel, Buddy the Elf, and Star Wars Stormtroopers. Parents connected with 63 vendors offering valuable resources, picked up the latest Flourishing Families guide and discovered incredible products at the ShopAble Bazaar, featuring 9 booths from entrepreneurs with disabilities.
